Who We Are

  • Creating hope, empowering lives, inspiring communities: one cup, one chat, one visit at a time

We draw our mission from Trivium Life Services. Learn more about our parent organization in the Our Profits section below.

  • The Terrace serves as an open invitation for our neighbors to experience camaraderie, connectedness, and inclusion firsthand.

With the Learning Kitchen (coming later in 2023), we are elated at the job and skills training opportunities that The Terrace will provide to individuals in our community, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

  • At The Terrace, your dollar goes a little bit further. You’re not only shopping local, you’re reinvesting your money into the betterment of our community.

Profits generated from The Terrace will support Trivium Life Services’ mission. Learn more about Trivium Life Services, our parent organization, on their website.

  • We proudly offer locally sourced goods, including beers, ciders, roasted coffee beans, and boutique midwestern farm produce. Stop by the shop to see what’s fresh and local today!

  • Connectivity — that is what The Terrace is all about. We’re so dedicated to bringing people, ideas, and communities together that we made it the cornerstone of our shop’s logo.

Whether you see a city map with intertwining routes, ideas all originating from different minds meeting together to make something unique, or different community partners coming together to make a café in River’s Edge, you can hardly deny the connectivity that flows through our icon.

When you come into our shop, we want you to feel hopeful, empowered, inspired, and most of all, connected.
